Jamia Teachers’ Solidarity Association (JTSA)

OBSERVE 19 SEPTEMBER AS BLACK DAY!

Dear Friends

ONE year after the Batla House ‘Encounter’ of 19

September 2008 there has been

NO magisterial enquiry, NO fair probe.

We call upon all those who want the rule of law, democracy and human rights

to prevail in India to:

Demand Judicial probe into the Batla House

‘Encounter’ NOW!

Demand Speedy Justice for the accused and

arrested youth

Demand an end to communal stereotyping and

Minority witch-hunting in the name of ‘war against

terror’

JTSA also appeals to everyone who supports these demands to

wear black bands on 19th September – the 1st anniversary of the

Batla House ‘Encounter’. Later, please post these black bands

with the words ‘Judicial Probe into Batla House Encounter

Now!’ to Dr Manmohan Singh, Prime Minister of India, 7, Race

Course Road, New Delhi.

Re-assert the Struggle for TRUTH and JUSTICE!
